If you ask our employees what they value about our Green Bay site you will hear about our employee appreciation days, employee service awards, and employee giveaways.What we have to offer:$24.87 per hour starting payUp to 120 hours (10 days) vacation annually11 paid company holidays401(k) with company matchMedical, dental, life insuranceCareer growth and cross-training opportunitiesYour work schedule and shift information:8-hour shifts1st shift: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm2nd shift: 2:00 pm – 10:30 am3rd shift: 10:00 pm – 6:00 amCurrently hiring for 3rd Shift onlyMust be willing to work overtime, weekends, nights, and holidays as neededPlant operates 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.Key accountabilities:As part of our manufacturing team, you will:Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to receive, store, and transport raw materials, ingredients, and finished products, support inbound and outbound shipments, and meet production needsReceive, inspect, store, and distribute raw materials, packaging, finished goods, and supplies while maintaining accurate inventory records and documentationSelecting, preparing, and loading products for outbound shipment per customer specificationsResponsible for the storage of raw material, ingredients or finished productReceiving, unloading, and inspecting inbound ingredients/packaging materialsParticipate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase platform performanceAssist in training new employeesMinimum qualifications:High school diploma or GED2 years experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred or two years of consistent job historyProficiency in standard computer software required, Outlook, Excel, WordProficient in EnglishEffective communication, safety, and leadership skillsMust have the ability to use computer and programs such as SAGE, outlook and excel for shift reportingMust be able to work in hot or cold environmentsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, push, pull, and twist for extended periodsWillingness to work in hot, cold, noisy, wet, or dusty conditionsAbility to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platformsAbility to follow human and food safety, quality, and grooming standardsAbility to wear such as protective clothing and equipment (Personal Protective Equipment -PPE) such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard/bump cap, hair/beard net, gloves, and face masks (when required)Ability to work around high-speed machinery and food allergensEligibility:Applicants must meet a minimum 18-year age qualification.Equal opportunity employer (EOE)General Mills is an equal opportunity employer.
