Production Line Lead - 3rd shift

Overnight Production SupervisorShift: 11:45 PM-8:15 AM Hourly Rate: $23.00 an hour + $1.00 shift differentialReporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will lead daily line production activities on your assigned line to achieve safety, quality, production, and efficiency goals during overnight operations. You will coordinate team members, support continuous improvement efforts, and ensure compliance with all food safety and operational standards while maintaining a strong safety culture.A Taste of Your ResponsibilitiesLead daily line production activities to achieve safety, quality, and efficiency goalsCoordinate and direct line operators throughout the shift to ensure smooth performance and continuityMonitor line performance, identify issues, and assist in troubleshooting equipment and processesPartner with Maintenance, Quality, and Operations teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actionsEnsure compliance with food safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, sanitation, and quality standardsVerify production records, quality checks, and documentation are completed accurately and on timePromote a strong safety culture, ensuring adherence to safety procedures including machine guarding, lockout tagout, fall protection, and safe work practicesAssist with shift start-up meetings and communicate production priorities, expectations, and performance metricsTrain, coach, and develop production employees to improve performance and support workforce developmentMonitor employee performance and adherence to company policies and proceduresUpdate and maintain safety, quality, delivery, and cost boards and performance tracking toolsIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement, waste reduction, and operational efficienciesLead product changeovers, line startups, and process improvementsSupport staffing needs by coordinating assignments and ensuring proper line coverageServe as a resource for employees by addressing questions and resolving operational challengesPerform other duties and special projects as assignedIngredients Required for Your SuccessHigh School diploma or GED2+ years experience in a manufacturing or production environmentKnowledge of food safety and Good Manufacturing Practices preferredWillingness to work overnight shifts and weekends as requiredPhysical RequirementsMore information on the essential tasks and facility will be shared during the hiring process.
