In this role, you'll direct, control, and track wood shop projects from beginning to end while managing line employees and temp workers.Shift Available: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Overtime Eligible) This is a 40 hour work week.A variety of these traits will help land you this job. If you have:a High School Diploma or GEDa minimum of 3 years experience in fabrication or Millworkkitting or assembly experience is a plusOn top of that you must:make the right call with quality decisions, good judgment and keen problem-solving skills in determining better, more efficient work flows with the same high-quality standarddrive results, take initiative and be action-oriented by applying time management and self-management skills every day in order to meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitudebe accountable and take ownership of work commitments in meeting clients' expectations and timelinescollaborate and embrace the "Art of the Team" by working with coworkers in order to get the work done on-time and within budgethave a passion for excellence and drive for quality in all that the team producesIn this position, you will:review projects and create a vision for line set up and flowdirect team on tasks needed to complete the job on timemonitor the quality control on linesensure all of the necessary paperwork needed for the projects are utilizedcomplete time studies as neededbe setting up production linesassist in the training and development of both regular and temporary workforceperform miscellaneous projects and completes various tasks as requested by managementTo get hired at The Bernard Group, you MUST be:able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.
