If your skills and experience are a good match for this role please apply today.Job DutiesLead and coordinate daily carbon fiber/composite production activities to meet production schedules and quality requirements.Assign daily tasks and provide direction to production associates based on workload and priorities.Train and mentor employees on carbon fiber layup, vacuum bagging, bonding, trimming, sanding, finishing, and other composite manufacturing processes.Monitor employee performance, productivity, attendance, and adherence to established procedures.Ensure aerospace components are manufactured according to work instructions, drawings, specifications, and quality standards.Perform and oversee preparation of molds, materials, resins, adhesives, and tooling used in composite manufacturing.Inspect in-process and completed carbon fiber components for wrinkles, voids, delamination, dimensional issues, surface defects, and other nonconformances.Verify production travelers, work orders, material documentation, and required manufacturing records are completed accurately.Troubleshoot production issues and escalate quality, equipment, or material concerns to supervisors, engineering, or Quality as needed.Requirements5 years of experienceBenefitsCompetitive weekly payComprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverageLife insurance and disability insurance for added peace of mindOptional 401(k) plan to help you prepare for the futureSafety-focused manufacturing environment with opportunities for advancement and skill developmentAbout UsAt Staffmark, we connect hardworking people with great companies, creating opportunities that make a lasting impact.
