Production Lead

Production Team LeadThe Production Team Lead will assist the Value Stream Leader in maintaining a safe, structured work environment while driving production throughput. This position will act as a liaison between the production supervisor and line operators, ensuring that procedures are being followed, while also suggesting ideas for streamlining processes.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Implement daily and weekly work week plans and schedules for the department.Own everything associated with the day to day line operations.Subject matter and product assembly expert for your line.Lead and train employees to help ensure efficiency and productivity.Perform administrative tasks under the guidance of the Value Stream Leader.Bring any employee concerns to the supervisor to ensure company morale.Ensure a safe work environmentIdentify/develop leadership qualities in production personnelSupports and sustains morning markets to ensure cross departmental communication is happening as efficiently as possible.Supports the sustaining of CAIRE's 6S program, by ensuring their work area is clean, organized and meets all safety requirements.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.Supervisory ResponsibilityWill supervise employees on a specific line.Work EnvironmentThis job is in a full production environment.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance.Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
