Production Lead - 2nd Shift

Production LeadThe Production Lead is responsible for coordinating daily operations, providing on-the-floor leadership, and ensuring accuracy and efficiency across the production floor in a multi-temperature environment. This role supports training, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement, while upholding company values and safety standards.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesCoordinate day-to-day workflow, training, and troubleshooting in a multi-temperature environment (including areas at or below freezing)Use WMS or other systems/reports to track and review productivity to ensure goals and outputs are met accurately and efficientlyProvide constructive and timely feedback to associates in one-on-one and group settingsConduct department start-up meetings as neededAssist in updating and documenting process changes and training plansPromote team retention through respectful communication, motivation, and timely problem resolutionWork on the production floor in a manual labor role during non-peak times as neededAdhere to all safety, security, and SQF (Safe Quality Foods) requirementsPerform other duties and assist other departments as assignedMaintain reliable and consistent attendanceUphold professionalism, sincerity, and enthusiasm reflecting 1-800-Flowers.com, Inc.'s commitment to Delivering SmilesSkillsAbility to read and follow labels, processes, and written instructionsBasic math skillsStrong communication and leadership skills across all employee levelsPhysical DemandsAbility to lift up to 30 lbs. continuously and 50 lbs.
