Operator OneThe position of Operator One is a non-exempt position that is required to work 12-hour shift rotations. The Operator One will learn and assist the Operators and Lead Operators in manufacturing quality PVC Pipe safely. It is very important to check pipe regularly to prevent scrap and monitor overweighs.Duties/Responsibilities:Lift pipe from beller table to the pipe cart when requiredStack pipe on to the cartHourly dimensional checks and associated paperwork as well as machine readingsPlace wood setups in the cartMake die adjustmentsMonitor the extruder lines to check all gaugesUse all measuring tools for dimensional checks on pipeFollow all safety and company policiesMaintain a clean safe work areaAll other duties assigned by SupervisionEducation and Experience:High School Diploma or EquivalentManufacturing and forklift experience preferredPhysical Requirements:Ability to climb, stand for long periods, bend, stoop, push and pullAbility to lift up to 50 poundsWork in both hot and cold environments as well as elementsConditions of Employment Sanderson Pipe Corporation promotes a drug and alcohol-free work environment.
