Production EngineerGrace is seeking a Production Engineer to join our Production team. This role reports to the Production Engineer Leader located at the Pasadena Catalyst Plant. The schedule is 9/80's, every other Friday off.

Production reps will be on a rotating weekly on call list. Accountable for Quality and Productivity in the Catalyst manufacturing units. The Production Engineer is a leader and process expert for their units.

They are vital in maintaining a safe workspace and complying with environmental regulations. They are the first ones to troubleshoot any production issues or upset.Responsibilities:Maintains over-all understanding of process capability & capacityReports Production metrics in meetings and on dashboards, with detailed downtime root causes, this includes monthly closing and forecasting.Identifies and defines requirements for process improvement / productivity projectsEnsures usage of process related best practices, standards, and Critical to Quality (CTQ) plans.Develops process control support to ensure process/quality variations are minimized.Provides statistical data analysis for Process Control and RCAsConduct Management of Change (MOCs) and participates in PSSRsParticipate in OIR/incident investigations and Process Hazard analysis.Prepares technical Daily Operating Instructions/work instructions for OperationsLeadership in the field by walking outdoors in units daily.Required Qualifications:BS degree in Chemical EngineeringPrevious experience as a Production or Process Engineer3+ years engineering experience with a chemical manufacturing plantPreferred Qualifications:Experience in a PSM facilityLean Six Sigma Green BeltAny Basic Process Control System Training (Delta V)Physical Requirements and Environment:Ability to follow safety protocols and standards working in a laboratory environment with highly hazardous materialsAbility to follow safety protocols and standards working in a pilot plant facility with highly hazardous materialsAbility to work in a high hazard environment, including adverse weather conditions, elevated spaces, confined spaces, extreme temperatures, and noisy surroundings.Must be able to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb stairs and ladders over 100 ft.Must be willing to wear PPE (Personal Protective equipment) including but not limited to hard hat, protective eyewear, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, Level A suit, full face respiratorBenefits:Medical, Dental, Vision InsuranceLife Insurance and DisabilityGrace Wellness ProgramFlexible WorkplaceRetirement Plans 401(k) Company MatchPaid Vacation and HolidaysParental LeaveTuition ReimbursementCompany Donation Match Program
