Our engaged team leads with integrity, and unites with purpose, driving toward innovation and continuous improvement every day.Responsibilities:Participate and deliver Lean Transformational strategies and tactics; including projects in 6S, Model Cell development, pull systems, etc.Design and refine production workspaces and process flows to support efficient, high-quality manufacturing operationsDesign and optimize tooling, fixtures, and work instructions for production operations, while implementing Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiencyEvaluate and improve manufacturing methods, processes and equipmentConduct time studies, workflow analysis, and capacity planning to balance workloads, and develop and maintain corresponding SOP's and process documentationTrain and support operators, technicians and production associates in best practices to ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirementsLiaise with suppliers/subcontractors to confirm product specifications, verify drawings, validate product quality and maintain effective production standardsAssist with quoting special projects and provide technical product expertise, calculations and support to customers and sales teamLead cost reduction initiatives while maintaining product quality and reliabilityFacilitate and/or participate in transformational Kaizen eventsQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, or related field3+ years of industrial or manufacturing engineering experience working with discrete partsStrong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologiesExperienced with CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar) and ERP/MRP systemsSolid working knowledge of machining, assembly, automation and other manufacturing processesFamiliarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949 or similar)Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) implementation experienceProficient with Microsoft SuitePreferred Qualifications:Experience with bearings, mechanical power transmission, and drive train productsAutomated production process experienceOur Employee Value Proposition:Market competitive benefits package, including company-sponsored health coverage, life insurance, 401(k) plan with company match, paid parental leave and paid time offWork in a collaborative environment with passionate and innovative teammatesSolve is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination or harassment of any kind.
