Production EngineerLHH is seeking hands-on Production Engineer for one of our top clients to support daily manufacturing operations, improve productivity, reduce downtime, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across assembly and machining environments.This role is highly floor-focused, partnering closely with operations teams to improve safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency while supporting equipment reliability and process optimization.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide engineering support to manufacturing operations and resolve production issuesIdentify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve productivity and efficiencyLead continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and 5S programsAnalyze production data and KPIs to drive operational performanceSupport standardized work instructions, process documentation, and employee trainingCoordinate preventive maintenance activities and assist with equipment reliability effortsParticipate in root cause analysis and corrective action initiativesCollaborate cross-functionally to improve quality, safety, and operational outcomesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field3+ years of manufacturing, production engineering, or operations experienceExperience supporting machining, assembly, or high-volume manufacturing environmentsStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skillsExperience with Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, or operational excellence initiativesProficiency with Excel and production reporting toolsStrong communication and collaboration skillsPreferred ExperienceLean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or Six Sigma methodologiesEquipment reliability and maintenance coordinationProcess optimization and workflow improvementKPI development and performance reportingWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for a proactive engineer who enjoys being on the production floor, solving problems, improving processes, and working directly with operations teams to drive results.
