Production CoordinatorAs a Production Coordinator, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth flow of our production process, from raw material procurement to finished goods shipment. You will play a key role in maintaining our high-quality standards and supporting various departments to meet overall production goals.Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Schedule CoordinationCoordinate the purchasing of raw materials, packaging supplies, and other necessary components to support production schedules.Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate data within the ERP system to prevent shortages and ensure timely delivery.Track supplier lead times and coordinate with logistics partners to expedite urgent shipments when production schedules shift.Follow the production schedule, ensure overall schedule attainment, and provide regular status updates to management.Collaborate with production leadership to align material availability with equipment capacity and labor resources.File completed production tickets and maintain accurate tracking logs.Quality AssuranceConduct regular quality checks throughout the production process to ensure products meet company standards and customer specifications.Identify, document, and report any quality discrepancies or issues.Work with relevant teams to implement corrective actions and preventive measures.Cross-Functional & Customer SupportProvide backup support to the customer service team by addressing inquiries, processing orders, and resolving customer issues as needed.Maintain a strong, up-to-date understanding of product offerings and customer needs to provide seamless support.Safety & ComplianceEnsure strict compliance with all company policies, safety procedures, and housekeeping standards within the production and warehouse areas.Promote a safe working environment, participate in safety training initiatives, and proactively identify and address potential safety hazards.Perform other duties and special projects as assigned to support the team.General OperationsOther Duties: Perform other operational and administrative duties as assigned by management to support the facility's goals.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required.Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality.Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.Must be able to work efficiently in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment.Must have strong and accurate data entry skills.Must be willing to participate in regular on-the-job training related to the role.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and frequently is required to walk.The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without mechanical assistance.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED, or 5+ years of practical experience and demonstrated mastery in related field.
