Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in a Buyer, Purchasing, or Materials Planning role within a manufacturing environment
Strong experience creating, managing, and expediting purchase orders
Proven background purchasing production materials and supporting manufacturing operations
Experience with forecasting, demand planning, and material requirements planning (MRP)
Knowledge of inventory management principles, including min/max inventory strategies
Experience working directly with suppliers to manage delivery schedules and resolve supply issues
Comfortable working within ERP systems for purchasing and planning activities
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Production Buyer to support purchasing and material planning activities within a medical device manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring production has the materials needed to meet demand through effective purchasing, forecasting, inventory planning, and supplier management. The Buyer will work closely with planners, suppliers, receiving, and production teams to maintain material availability, resolve supply issues, and support ongoing operations. This position will also play a key role in the company's transition from BPICS to SAP S/4, requiring the ability to work across both systems while helping keep production running smoothly. Candidates must be willing to go onsite in Arvada, CO.
Pay range: $35-40/hr based on experience
