Batchmaker PositionNazdar's manufacturing plant is in search of a Batchmaker to assist in the ink production area.Shift - Monday - Friday 5:30 am - 2:00 pm.Starting Pay: $18.25 (with no previous batch experience) and $20.25/hr (with previous batch making, mixing, and blending experience)Eligible for Benefits, Paid Holidays, and Paid Time Off!!Responsibilities include:Weighing or measuring materials, ingredients, and products to ensure conformance to requirementsRecording weight of materials used on production records. Introducing appropriate raw materials into batches in the proper sequence.Observing the production of the ink and monitoring equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.Adding or mixing chemicals and ingredients for processing.Communicate with batch makers from other shifts.Work with the QA department to insure quality standards are met.Cleaning equipment and surrounding floor area at the end of each work shiftPhysical Requirements*:(*Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions)Must be able to:stand and walk around the production floor for long periods of timereach with hands and arms overhead above shouldersbend to retrieve containers and packagesconstantly lift materials to make batchesclimb ladders to retrieve materialstalk or hearfrequently lift and/or move up to 65 poundsmay be required to push/pull on wheels, up to 4000 poundsspecific vision abilities required are the ability to distinguish colorQualificationsTeam Player: Works well as a member of a groupLoyal: Shows firm and constant support to a causeDedicated: Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrityPrevious experience with batch weighing, mixing or blending1 year: Experience in production or manufacturing environment.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
