Build your craftsmanship and detail orientation using industry-standard tools.A typical day as Production Operator I will involve: Performing production, assembly, and general labor tasks focused on door manufacturing.
Conducting visual quality checks on stacks of doors and repairing defects using various hand tools (e.g., glue guns, palm sanders, putty knives, chisels). Restacking approved doors, pushing pallets and door stacks on conveyors, and preparing products for the next production stage. Documenting unrepairable doors and collaborating with other departments to maintain quality standards. Operating jump tracks, straightening doors, and pushing stacks onto infeed tracks for paint booths. Working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with a strong focus on inspection and defect identification.This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Have experience or interest in production, assembly, or general labor roles, particularly in manufacturing.
Can read and interpret work instructions and specifications with high attention to detail. Are skilled in or willing to learn the use of woodworking tools and repair techniques (such as glue guns, palm sanders, putty knives, and chisels). Can manually lift, slide, and flip materials or doors up to 80 lbs, and are comfortable with bending, stooping, twisting, and standing for long periods. Thrive in a fast-paced and physically active environment, and communicate effectively with team members to resolve process issues promptly. Are able to work in environments that may be noisy, dusty, and subject to temperature changes.
