This position is first shift Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30pm at $19/hr with overtime as needed. Production Associate/Technician is accountable for assisting the manufacturing process which includes filling drums, labeling products, and may include the use of a forklift.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesDrumming of Materials and Dispensing of Product: Ensure a consistent and quality product of material produced Procedures must be followed including exact quantities produced and dispensed.Proper labelling of drums / totesProper dispensing of finished goods products into 55 gallon drumsProper palletizing and banding of drumsFollow loading instructionsProper labeling of all products with production information and dateUse of hand tools including a drum torque wrenchAutonomously drive the process to ensure production and quality targets are met on a daily basisDetailed organization through reading instruments and accurately recording readingsReceived adequate training and fully understand manufacturing proceduresAt times re-labeling of incoming material will be requiredAssisting with quarterly Inventory countParticipate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), continuous improvement, and problem-solving activities, including supporting workplace organization, equipment care, standard work adherence, and improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.Must complete safety and all other trainings as assignedAll other duties as assigned by LeadershipSKILLS AND ABILITIESMust be able to comply with all safety/work/procedures, rules and regulationsMust complete safety and all other trainings as assignedMust be able to read, write, and speak EnglishMust have the ability to do basic mathematical calculationsMust have the ability to multi-taskMust work well in team environment and work independentlyMust be able to maintain a safe and clean work environmentEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEMinimum high school diploma or equivalent is required1 years of manufacturing experience or related experience and/or training in an industrial environmentPreferred: 1 year forklift operating experienceMust be 18 years or olderMust be a US citizen or have the right to work in the USMust be drug and alcohol freeESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENTThis position requires: Standing for prolonged periods of time, over 8 hours if required Work overtime, as neededNearest Major Market: Chicago
