Production TechnicianJoin our dynamic team as a Production Technician in a post-production environment where your skills in packaging and sealing will play a crucial role in ensuring product quality and integrity.ResponsibilitiesMeasure products accurately to dispense into various packaging formats such as containers, bottles, and pouches.Set up, adjust, and monitor sealing equipment to ensure proper closure and integrity of packages.Inspect filled and sealed products for correct weight, fill level, seal quality, labeling, and overall appearance.Perform routine equipment checks, including cleaning, sanitizing, and making minor adjustments.Record production data, including batch numbers, quantities, downtime, and quality checks.Load materials such as containers, caps, lids, and other packaging components into machines.Remove defective products and report recurring issues to supervisors or maintenance.Follow safety, GMP, and quality standards, especially in food, pharmaceutical, or chemical environments.Essential SkillsAt least 1 year of experience in general production.At least 1 year spent at each position on resume.Managerial reference must be provided upon request.Proficiency in using machines to load materials into packaging.Experience with filling machines, sealing, and weigh stations.Ability to weigh products to the milligram.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in material sorting and production line operations.Experience mixing ingredients.Why Work Here?Enjoy a steady career progression with a $1+ raise upon conversion. You must be available from 7am to 7pm, Monday to Friday, for an 8-10 hour shift within these hours. The facility is non-smoking, and all rooms are climate and moisture controlled. PPE such as hair nets, coats, gloves, and booties are required. A bilingual or Spanish-speaking environment is welcomed. Note that candidates must not have dairy or shellfish allergies and will be required to sign an NDA regarding supplement recipes.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buda, TX.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
