Production AssociateAeroLEDs is looking for a full time dynamic Production Associate to join our AeroLEDs team. In this role, you'll be responsible for the manufacturing of LED light assemblies used in the Aerospace, Rail, and Dental industries. Boise, ID First Shift scheduleKey ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:Produce finished goods by assembling parts and subassemblies according to drawings, instructions, or schematics.Use of hand tools and/or machines to assemble parts.Conducts quality control checks.Cleans and maintains work area and equipment, including tools.Ensure product is of highest quality according to specificationsDocuments actions by completing production and quality forms.Ensure raw materials and finished products meet specifications through meticulous examinationPerform durability, functionality, and safety tests to validate product quality and performance using standardized methodsMaintain detailed records of inspections, noting deviations or defects found to ensure traceability and quality controlCommunicate identified defects promptly to supervisorsVerify products meet industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements by staying updated on quality regulationsOversee production stages to uphold consistent quality standards and identify areas for improvement in machinery and workflowsQualifications:Mechanical and technical skillsSafety management mindsetFocus on quality controlDexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components that are often very smallKnowledge and experience of hand soldering surface mount and through hole componentsKnowledge of running surface mount equipment is beneficialRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent qualification.Previous manufacturing experience.Ability to use hand toolsSolid understanding of production machinery and proper assembly procedures.Knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols and regulations.Ability to read manufacturing instructions, operational sheets, and product travelers.Physical Demands and AbilitiesAble to lift up to 35 poundsRegularly performs repetitive tasksMay require standing entire shiftRegularly possesses manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accuratelySpecific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focusBasic math and organization skillsDetail-oriented mindsetAll Employees ShallComply with the EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules and requirementsReport to supervision conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment, to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazardsAttend scheduled EH&S training programActively support the organization's efforts to meet or exceed EH&S goals and plansRecommend improved EH&S practicesMust be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and third parties.
