Production Administrator
The Production Administrator supports daily manufacturing operations through creation, utilization, and maintenance of automation systems. This hourly role is responsible for utilizing, creating, and maintaining systems related to productivity, scrap, and labor data, ensuring accurate and timely information is available to plant leadership in a fast-paced swab manufacturing environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Creation, maintenance, and utilization of automated systems.
- Occasionally work with hardware (PLCs, Sensors, etc.) in creation of said systems.
- Accurately enter daily production, scrap, and labor data into systems.
- Verify data accuracy and follow up on discrepancies in information.
- Work with and support all departments within the company.
- Maintain organized electronic and paper records for audits and internal reviews.
- Perform other administrative and reporting duties related to plant operations as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- One year minimum administrative work experience, data entry, or production support experience required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage repetitive tasks while meeting daily deadlines.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the internal organization.
Work Schedule & Environment
- Hourly position with scheduled shifts; overtime may be required based on operational needs.
- Manufacturing plant environment with a combination of office and production-area interaction.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer.
