Production Assembler I - Full Time

The Production Assembler I is responsible for basic assembly work to assemble components as needed to customer orders and demands.

The Production Assembler I will be responsible for the following:

• Ability to use light powered electrical or mechanical tools for assembly
• To complete daily production tasks as in numbers of orders/units completed in a single working cell or processing line based on demands
• To read and follow company documents - safety rules, operating instructions, policies and procedures
• To perform additional duties as designed (i.e. 5S events, lean manufacturing, etc.)

The Preferred Candidate will have the following Skills & Abilities

• Understanding of raw materials, WIP, finish goods, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques used in manufacturing
• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, and Word)
• High School Diploma/GED or above
• Effective time management skills, ability to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently
• Ability to multitask, stay organized and attentive to details
• Good communication skills

Physical Job Requirements

• This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary (standing and/or seated) position more than half the time
• This position requires the ability to view computer monitors less than half the time
• The person in this position must be able to maneuver (lift, move, carry, slide, etc.) up to 50 lbs
