Production & Materials PlannerA growing manufacturer in the Hillsborough area is hiring a Production and Materials Planner to manage production scheduling and material replenishment for a fast-moving manufacturing operation. This person will balance customer demand, production capacity, material availability, inventory levels, and operational priorities to keep production running smoothly.What You'll DoCreate and manage daily production schedulesBuild material replenishment plans using MRP outputs, forecasts, inventory targets, and supplier lead timesCreate and manage purchase orders through an ERP systemMonitor supplier commitments and material deliveriesAddress shortages, delays, and other supply risks before they disrupt productionWork closely with Production, Quality, Procurement, Warehouse, Logistics, and SalesMonitor production results and adjust schedules as priorities changeAnalyze inventory levels, turns, excess or obsolete materials, and warehouse capacityMaintain accurate production orders, planning parameters, and master dataSupport continuous improvement projects related to service, inventory, cost, and operational efficiencyRequirements5–7 years of experience in production planning, material planning, purchasing, or a related supply chain roleBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or another analytical disciplineManufacturing experienceStrong understanding of MRP and material-planning conceptsExperience using SAP, Oracle, or another ERP systemExperience coordinating with vendors and managing delivery plansAdvanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and importing dataStrong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to work onsite full-timePreferred QualificationsFood or consumer packaged goods manufacturing experienceExperience with primary or tertiary packaging materialsSAP experienceAPICS CPIM or CSCP certificationExperience using macros or other Excel automation toolsCompensationTarget base salary of $85,000–$95,000, with some flexibility for the right person6% discretionary bonusOther DetailsFully onsite five days per week; no remote or hybrid optionStandard schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.The facility operates around the clock, but this is a weekday planning positionMinimal domestic travel is expected
