Production Operator
Our customer in Lena, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We're recruiting Production Operators to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Production Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective operation of the production line within a food manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for operating production equipment, performing quality checks, and supporting the production of high-quality cheese products while maintaining strict safety and sanitation standards.
Responsibilities of the Production Operator:
- Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure efficient production and optimal performance.
- Conduct routine quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards.
- Follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
- Lift, move, and handle materials and product throughout the production process.
- Adhere to all food safety, quality, and workplace safety requirements.
- Assist with production line changeovers and general production support as needed.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
Production Operator Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Pay for Production Operator: Starting at $19/hour. Production Operator Benefits:
