Sr Technical Program ManagerWe are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to work within the Core Infrastructure program management team. The right candidate will have demonstrated solid leadership in leading teams and programs to deliver successful outcomes. This candidate is expected to perform using best practices for execution of Infrastructure projects as well as initiating, planning, and executing intermediate-to-large scale, cross-functional programs.The ideal candidate will have an excellent balance of people, organizational, and technical skills, and can execute and deliver successfully in situations where authority is not a given.

TPM with Infra stack experience, specifically in the areas of streams (PubSub), storage, and operational excellence. This role will be based in Mountain View, CA.Responsibilities:Provide clarity on product/program objectives, ensuring that roles and responsibilities are well understood and address any conflict in a timely manner with minimal direction and assistance from management.Interact with program sponsors and change agents to identify scope, requirements, and manage projects throughout the entirety of the project lifecycle.Facilitate and drive large cross-functional projects, serve the needs of multiple stakeholders within a complex multi-faceted organization, and manage that strategy through to completion.Apply formal change management practices that ensure programs are baselined at kickoff and all changes are thoroughly reviewed for justification, impact, and approvals.Anticipate program risks and issues and work to provide resolutions which ensure stakeholder expectations are appropriately set.Effectively communicate information to diverse audiences including translating subject matter terminology into clear business terms and program relevance.Facilitate straightforward decisions from complex situations that keep teams and projects moving forward.Establish and manage end-to-end processes with various stakeholders in collecting, evaluating, and fulfilling requirements.Demonstrate data analysis expertise to develop and communicate meaningful insights, define metrics, and make recommendations on key infrastructure scaling initiatives.Apply business acumen to formulate practical and effective program management approaches to identify optimization opportunities, influence business partners, and drive effective decision making.Conduct "what-if" simulations and proactively identify potential capacity issues and partner with product and service owners to minimize risk and reduce cost-to-serve.Lead from the front, strategize and paint the big picture, while executing with rigor and a data-driven approach.Manage executive project expectations including escalation management, communication, and executive-level interaction on strategic projects.Basic Qualifications:B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience5+ years of experience in Technical Program and Product Management, including feature development, roadmap management, and Agile methodologies in Infra product/platform development teamsPreferred Qualifications:5+ years of technical leadership with a track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, detail orientation, and delivering results in a highly organized mannerStrong technical acumen and ability to learn new technologies quicklyDemonstrated understanding of technology-based product lifecycle management including development, launch, and management phasesExceptional analytical skills to translate requirements and designs into actionable plansExperience leading dynamic programs and projects with cross-functional matrixed resources in fast-paced collaborative environmentsProven ability to quickly earn trust of sponsors and stakeholders, set direction, mobilize teams, and execute with ambiguityStrong understanding of managing the lifecycle of large-scale programsStrong problem-solving and risk mitigation skillsProven ability to collaborate across functions and influence senior business partnersDemonstrated conflict resolution and negotiation skills with professionalism and influenceStrong attention to detail and excellent time management skillsSuggested Skills:Program & Product ManagementInfrastructure Platform DevelopmentCross-functional Collaboration
