Product Solutions Delivery Lead (Product Manager)

Senior Product LeadOur client is a global consulting firm based in Chicago, they are seeking a Senior Product Lead that is enthusiastic, driven and execution focused to join our Chief Operating Officer Services Division. As the firm commences its growth strategy, we are looking for a senior hire to own a large client engagement, to deliver a large-scale enterprise logistics services platform for a high growth client. This role will be responsible for overseeing and managing the product delivery to support the client, that operates within the auto rescue sector.

This position serves an essential role between the senior management of our client, leadership and our development function, together with the responsibility to own and deliver the portfolio of projects. In partnership with Technology, you will help set up and manage the group through all aspects of product delivery.Main ResponsibilitiesAs the Product / Engagement lead you will have the responsibility to bring extensive Functional and Project Delivery solutions to our client.Manage day to day interactions with clients and sponsorsDevelop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clientsResponsible and accountable for assigned project's strategy, scope of work, schedule, budget, risk mitigation plan, and any activity tied to the commercial success of the projectBuild a product delivery team both on and offshore that effectively manages and delivers the allocated resources to optimize effective service output.Develop and implement strategies that will maximize the synergies among the client's projectsHave oversight of the purpose and status of all projects in the portfolio and use this oversight and skills to support project-level activities to ensure the overall program goals are metInstill a sense of accountability among team members and affiliates, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned area of responsibilityDevelop effective stakeholder management strategies and execution plans to ensure all vital business relationships are securedEstimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals on time and on budget.Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within project team membersDevelop best practice and tools for project execution and managementDevelop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations to the project Sponsor and the Executive teamRequired Experience & Skills10+ years' experience designing and successfully leading operational change management programs; experience within Logistics / Transformation Services firmsProven expertise and a true passion for process innovation, zero-based design, and leading-edge technology with proven success delivering complex, large scale initiativesProven knowledge and experience in agile development methodologies and managing large programs of workProven ability to manage a portfolio of work across multiple products and service modulesDemonstrated ability to think strategically when planning, managing teams and managing processesTakes accountability for all project management aspects and works effectively and closely with the delivery managersSkillful use of interpersonal skills and influence to accomplish work without formal authority and to ensure optimal team performanceExcellent communication and customer service skills, which enable successful collaboration with executive level stakeholdersSound judgement, problem solving, and collaboration in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions to problemsEducationBS / MSc Degree in Computer Science, Business or equivalentFormal Program Management training or certification would be advantageous
