Product Quality Engineer Sr | Lockheed MartinThis position for a Product Quality Engineer Senior on the LM Rotary & Mission Systems (RMS) Product Quality Team in Syracuse, will be focused on the radar program areas. The position will interact directly with Production teams on Product Quality Assurance (PQA) work tasks/priorities and functionally collaborates with the LM RMS PQA Manager.The candidate must have a proven history of strong performance and ability to take initiative across a variety of QA responsibilities/tasks on development and/or sustainment programs. He/she is expected to quickly come-up to speed with the products, work scope, technical requirements, program risks, and delivery achievement schedules. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Identify root causes and associated corrective actions, evaluate process/product performance, and participate/interface with the engineering and production counterparts on program activities to assure processes and products are compliant to contractual requirements and proactive actions taken to prevent recurrenceAbility to evaluate and disposition production nonconforming hardware and analyze defect data to identify systemic issues and trendsAbility to verify systems are 100% compliant to the requirements and to present systems to customer representative(s) for acceptanceMentor Quality engineers on the team in quality tasks and principalsSupport, participate and execute strategies related to the roll-out of advanced quality, manufacturing efforts, and SIAs.Conduct defect trend analysis, data validation, statistical data analysis, and presentation of Quality metrics as part of the QMS for manufacturingConduct weekly Area Corrective Action Board (CAB) meetings with internal production team to review identify root cause and implement corrective actions for trends identifiedConduct process audits in accordance with internal processes and AS9100 standardsOur customers are world-wide and so is our reputation for creating original solutions with the latest technologies.
