Akkodis is seeking a Product Owner for a Contract with a client located in Raleigh, NC—onsite, local, with strong hands-on experience with Algolia, Vertex AI, Google Gemini, Product data management, customer-facing platforms such as POS systems, mobile applications, and B2B solutions, and strong in Agile and Scrum.
Rate Range: $58/hr - $60/hr (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors)
Work Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Product Manager or Product Owner experience supporting enterprise search and digital products
Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Strong Agile experience, including backlog management, sprint planning, user story creation, and collaboration with Scrum Masters and development teams
Experience supporting customer-facing platforms such as POS systems, mobile applications, and B2B solutions
Knowledge of SKU management, search technologies (Algolia, Vertex AI, Google Gemini), and product data management is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Define and manage product roadmaps, features, and user stories
Gather, analyze, and prioritize business and technical requirements
Partner with engineering teams to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions
Assess customer needs, market trends, and product performance metrics
Lead product discovery, business case development, and solution validation
Manage product backlogs and priorities within Agile environments
Promote data-driven decision-making and continuous product improvement
Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering, architecture, and UX teams to deliver customer-focused products
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of Product Management experience supporting software or technology products
Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and cloud technologies
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with enterprise search, relevance tuning, information discovery, or search technologies
Experience with AI-powered search and knowledge management platforms
Familiarity with Algolia, Vertex AI, Google Gemini, or similar technologies
