Job Title: Product Owner

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Candidates need to be local to Plano as may need to be on site on an as needed basis

Job Description

Lead an empowered, cross-functional team to discover, deliver, and continuously improve the KFC US Kiosk product, driving measurable business and customer outcomes. You will own the product vision, strategy, and results, working collaboratively to solve real customer and business problems.

Job Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate a compelling product vision for kiosks, rooted in deep customer and business understanding.
  • Translate strategy into actionable objectives, focusing on outcomes over output.
  • Continuously refine the roadmap based on insights, data, and evolving customer needs.

Customer-Centric Discovery

  • Lead discovery efforts to uncover real customer problems and validate solutions before building.
  • Engage directly with guest, owners, and restaurant team members to gather insights and test hypotheses.
  • Ensure every feature or initiative is grounded in evidence of customer value and business viability.

Empowered Team Leadership

  • Foster a culture of trust, autonomy, and shared accountability within the Kiosk cross-functional team.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, operations, marketing, finance, and legal to co-create solutions.
  • Facilitate open communication, shared learning, and rapid iteration.

Outcome‑Focused Delivery

  • Establish and track clear success metrics (OKRs) aligned to business objectives.
  • Prioritize ruthlessly, balancing quick wins and strategic investments.
  • Own the end‑to‑end delivery process, ensuring predictable, high‑quality releases.
  • Champion experimentation, learning from failures, and iterating rapidly.
  • Use data and feedback to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Share learnings transparently across teams and stakeholders.
  • Develop mastery in product discovery, customer‑centric design, and outcome‑driven delivery.
  • Gain experience leading empowered teams and driving measurable impact.
  • Build expertise in design thinking, stakeholder collaboration, and strategic prioritization.
