About Seed Talent

Seed Talent is building a higher standard for specialty retail education, performance, and employee enablement. Our platform helps brands, distributors, and operators train their teams, measure engagement, and drive sales performance — at scale. We are growing quickly across both cannabis and adjacent specialty retail verticals, and product velocity is core to our success.

Role Overview

We are hiring a Product Manager to lead roadmap development, feature execution, and cross-functional product delivery. This person will own the full lifecycle — discovery → scoping → build → launch → adoption — and will play a critical role in ensuring we ship features that drive measurable business outcomes for our customers.

This role requires someone who is highly analytical, outcome-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where clarity, prioritization, and proactive communication matter.

Core Responsibilities

  • Own the product roadmap in partnership with the founder aligned to company strategy, customer needs, and revenue priority
  • Drive user discovery and market research to identify opportunities that improve engagement, retention, and ROI
  • Translate concepts into requirements, PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Work closely with engineering, design, and data to deliver features reliably and on time
  • Establish and monitor success metrics (usage, engagement, completion rates, performance outcomes)
  • Partner with Customer Success and Sales to support adoption and product launches, especially during pilots
  • Ensure the product supports scalable onboarding and configuration for distributed and shift-based retail teams
  • Create clarity across the organization with proactive communication around timelines, trade-offs, and releases

Required Experience

  • 3–7 years of product management experience at a SaaS company
  • Demonstrated success working with engineering teams to deliver production-ready features
  • Strong requirements writing and scoping discipline — translates problems into step-by-step solutions
  • Proficient with analytics, experiment design, and data-driven decision-making
  • Experience working in fast-paced, early- or growth-stage environments where prioritization is critical

Preferred Experience (Not Required)

  • Experience with workforce management, Retail Platforms, LMS, or performance management,
  • Familiarity with SQL, JIRA, Trello, or similar systems

Who Thrives Here

  • Systems thinker who can zoom out to strategy and zoom into edge cases when needed
  • Executes quickly and iteratively — comfortable shipping v1, measuring, and improving
  • Deep ownership mindset; prefers accountability over supervision
  • Strong communicator who keeps stakeholders aligned and removes ambiguity
  • Motivated by building products that materially help workers and businesses grow
  • Strong ability to fill in the gaps, we are looking to discuss and align on outcomes and find someone motivated to fill in the gaps and drive to the outcome.
  • Competitive salary + bonus and equity opportunity
  • Health, dental, and PTO
  • High-ownership role in a fast-growing, mission-driven company
  • Co-workers who give a shit about what they do and who they do it for
