Product Manager – Public Safety & LMR CommunicationsLocation: West Melbourne, FL (onsite)About the Role We're looking for a strategic, technically minded Product Manager to help shape and grow mission-critical communication products used by public safety and first responder organizations. In this role, you'll lead product strategy, guide development, and bring new solutions to market that make a real-world impact. You'll work cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to turn market needs into successful products while ensuring reliability, performance, and compliance in highly regulated environments.Understand the MarketResearch customer needs, industry trends, and buying behaviors in public safety communications (law enforcement, fire, EMS, utilities, emergency management)Track emerging technologies including digital radio, interoperability, and LMR/LTE integrationsMonitor competitive products and identify opportunities to stand outLead Product StrategyDefine and manage product vision, roadmap, and business caseTranslate customer and market needs into product requirementsOwn the full product lifecycle from concept through launch and optimizationLaunch & Support ProductsPartner with Sales and Marketing to create go-to-market plans, pricing strategies, and launch materialsCreate sales enablement tools like presentations, training guides, and case studiesSupport customer meetings, demos, and technical conversations as the product expertCollaborate & ExecuteWork closely with Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Marketing to ensure smooth development and deliveryClearly communicate product plans and progress to internal and external stakeholdersWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA a plus)3+ years of experience in Product Management or Product MarketingExperience in LMR, radio communications, or public safety technology preferredStrong understanding of digital radio standards (e.g., P25) and system architecture is a plusStrong analytical, communication, and presentation skillsComfortable working across teams in fast-moving environmentsSkills That Help You SucceedMicrosoft Excel, Word, PowerPointProject management experienceCRM and analytics tools experienceStrong organization, time management, and attention to detailExperience with Agile development is a plusKavaliro provides Equal Employment Opportunities to all employees and applicants.
