Product ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our team. In this role, you will turn strategy, customer needs, and stakeholder goals into clear requirements the team can build — keeping delivery teams focused on the highest-value work and ensuring everyone shares the same understanding of scope, decisions, and priorities. You will own the detailed definition of what needs to be built, bridging business and customer needs with technical execution across one or more product areas.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who leverages data, strong relationships, and emerging AI capabilities to drive impactful outcomes and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesPrioritize features and enhancements based on client needs, regulatory requirements, and business valueDefine and maintain product backlogs with well-groomed, clearly articulated user stories and acceptance criteriaLead requirements-gathering sessions, workshops, and discovery calls with client stakeholders to capture business needs and translate them into actionable product specificationsDeliver product demonstrations and solution walkthroughs to clients, including executive audiences, showcasing new capabilities and workflow improvementsBuild strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor who understands their servicing operations and cash management challengesPartner closely with engineering and QA teams in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, and retrospectivesWrite detailed functional specifications, process flows, and acceptance criteria that engineering teams can execute against with minimal ambiguityCollaborate with architects and developers to evaluate solution options, assess trade-offs, and make informed product decisionsAssist with UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with clients, coordinating feedback and sign-off prior to releaseApply hands-on knowledge of mortgage cash operations including payment application hierarchies, suspense management, curtailments, payoff quotes, wire processing, and investor remittanceIdentify and address gaps in cash reconciliation, exception handling, and audit trail capabilitiesRequired Qualifications5+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in mortgage servicingDemonstrated expertise in cash management, payment processing, or financial operations within a servicing or loan administration environmentProven track record of client-facing work — conducting requirements sessions, delivering demos, and managing stakeholder expectationsStrong collaboration skills with software development teams; experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologiesAbility to write clear, detailed user stories and functional specificationsExcellent communication skills — able to translate technical concepts for business audiences and business requirements for technical teamsFamiliarity with servicing platforms (e.g., Black Knight MSP, ICE Mortgage Technology, Sagent, or similar)Preferred QualificationsExposure to CFPB regulations, GSE guidelines, and state-specific servicing compliance requirementsBackground in business analysis or implementation consulting within fintech or mortgage technologyExperience with product tools such as ADOAI Literacy and EnablementAs AI becomes a foundational element of how we operate and deliver value, candidates are expected to bring — or be committed to developing — the following competencies:Basic understanding of AI concepts and their practical applications in a product and business context.Background in leveraging AI for predictive analytics, automation, or data-driven decision-making.Familiarity with using AI tools to accelerate the creation of use cases, story development, and software development workflows.Knowledge of AI in supporting workflow automation, with the ability to identify and advocate for automation opportunities within the product lifecycle.Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
