Product Manager For DataThe Product Manager for Data leads the product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for data and reporting applications serving internal and external users. This role translates business needs into prioritized, approved initiatives with clear value, scope, and outcomes, ensuring teams remain focused on the highest-value work. While primarily focused on future roadmap and pipeline (?80%), this role actively supports in-flight delivery by clarifying requirements, adjusting scope, and ensuring stakeholder alignment and communication.Key Accountabilities/Deliverables:Build deep partnerships with business leaders to identify pain points, opportunities, and measurable outcomesMaintain an 18-month roadmap and a 6+ month ready backlog aligned to business priorities and capacityLead end-to-end business case development, ensuring clear value (ROI), defined scope, and approved prioritizationBalance feature delivery with technical investment (reliability, scalability, modernization)Own requirements clarity, backlog prioritization, and stakeholder alignment across all initiativesProvide clear, consistent progress and roadmap reporting, enabling informed stakeholder decisionsDefine and track success metrics for delivered outcomesDrive prioritization trade-offs based on value, risk, and capacityEnforce intake, prioritization, and funding governance processes to ensure alignment to portfolio prioritiesTechnical Knowledge and Understanding:Strong written communication skills for technical and executive audiences (C-suite)Practical experience with Agile delivery (Scrum, Kanban)Strong understanding of modern data stacks and reporting and visualization toolsLiteracy in Data Modeling, Data Ingestion, ML Modeling, Data GovernanceDeep understanding of the Microsoft data stack, including Microsoft Fabric and Power BI preferredExperience:Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Business Administration related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).Minimum of 3+ years' experience in product management within Agile environmentsMinimum of 3+ years' experience driving data engineering and reporting initiativesExperience with Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence)Experience using AI-enabled tools (e.g., Copilot) to improve productivityDemonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teamsDemonstrated habit of continuously teaching themselves new skills, with clear examples of recently applied learningExperience with Insurance Industry data (claims, premiums, Bordereaux files…) preferredApplicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
