About CoLab

At CoLab, we help mechanical engineering teams bring life-changing products to market years sooner.
We build AI for engineers designing cars, medical devices, and jet engines. Products this complex arent sketched and sent to production. Thats how our AI helps manufacturers like Bobcat, Triumph Motorcycles, and GE Appliances make better decisions, eliminate rework cycles, and get to market faster.
John’s, Newfoundland, CoLab started with one customer in 2018. Since then we’ve raised a $72M Series C, been named the 57th fastest growing company in North America by Deloitte (Fast 500™), signed multi-year AI partnerships with companies like Bombardier, and grown to a team of 250+.
Mechanical engineering teams rely on a complex ecosystem of CAD, PLM, and enterprise systems to design, review, and manufacture products. At CoLab, were building software that fits naturally into those workflows.
As a Product Manager for our Build Forge team, youll own the product direction for how CoLab connects with the systems engineers use every day. Your goal is to make complex engineering workflows simpler, helping customers move seamlessly between CoLab and their existing tools.
This role requires more than traditional SaaS product management experience. We need someone who understands how engineering data moves through an organization, from CAD models and revisions to BOMs, change management, and PLM systems.
Youll work closely with customers, Engineering, Design, and Customer Success to identify opportunities, set priorities, and deliver solutions that create measurable value. One week you might be defining how CoLab integrates with Siemens Teamcenter, the next, you could be mapping a customers engineering change workflow to identify where disconnected systems create unnecessary work.
Youve spent meaningful time in the CAD, PLM, or engineering software ecosystem. You understand the complexity of enterprise engineering environments and can connect technical details to real customer problems.
Youre equally comfortable discussing revision management with an engineering team and making product tradeoffs with developers.
If your product experience is primarily in general-purpose SaaS and youre unfamiliar with mechanical engineering workflows, this likely isnt the right fit.
Own the product roadmap for Build Forge, prioritizing CAD, PLM, and enterprise integrations.
