You'll work closely with Engineering, Design, and cross-functional partners to build and scale products that deliver real value to our customers.Depending on experience, you will either own a scoped product area or lead a broader product domain or customer segment (e.g., federal and defense customers), helping shape both product strategy and execution.Responsibilities:Own the product lifecycle end-to-end: discovery, requirements, development, launch, and iterationDefine and execute the product roadmap, aligned with company goals, customer needs, and technical constraintsServe as the Product Leader for engineering teams:Own and manage the product backlogWrite clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteriaPrioritize work based on customer value, business impact, and technical considerationsParticipate in and help guide Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, reviews, retrospectives)Partner closely with Engineering, UX, Data, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing to deliver high-quality product experiencesGather and synthesize customer and market insights through direct engagement with customers and internal stakeholdersDrive cross-functional alignment and communicate product direction effectively across all levels of the organizationLead product and feature launches, including rollout planning, enablement, and post-launch analysisUse data to inform decisions, measure success, and continuously improve the productEvaluate market opportunities and competitive landscape to inform product strategyFor Senior Product Managers:Own a product domain or customer segment (e.g., federal/defense), including strategy, roadmap, and outcomesPartner with leadership on long-term product strategy and go-to-market alignmentNavigate complex environments such as regulated industries, government customers, or multi-stakeholder ecosystemsQualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceProduct Management experience:Product Manager: 2–4 yearsSenior Product Manager: 5+ years with demonstrated ownership of product areas or domainsExperience working in a venture-backed or high-growth startup environmentHands-on experience in Agile/Scrum environmentsProven ability to manage and prioritize a product backlog and translate business needs into clear product requirementsStrong analytical and data-driven decision-making skillsExcellent communication skills (verbal, written, and visual), with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiencesAbility to self-manage, operate with autonomy, and thrive in ambiguityDetail-oriented with a strong strategic mindset—comfortable moving between big-picture thinking and executionPassion for building products that deliver meaningful customer and user valueNice to Have:Experience in eCommerce, supply chain, or logisticsExperience working with or selling into federal or defense customersFamiliarity with regulated or compliance-heavy environmentsSustainment offers a competitive benefits package for full time employees including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, company holidays, and 401K matching.Sustainment is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
