Our client is a midsize Chicago firm with a strong reputation adding to their Product Liability group. This position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated and complex litigation matters, representing manufacturers, distributors, and corporate clients through all phases of litigation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse product liability litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
- Take and defend depositions, participate in court appearances, and assist with trial preparation.
- Collaborate with partners and clients to develop effective case strategies.
- Handle all aspects of fact investigation, expert discovery, and motion practice.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of litigation experience, preferably in product liability, insurance defense, or complex civil litigation.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Illinois bar admission required.
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
