Product Development Technician
Our client, a global leader in adhesives, sealants, and material technologies, is seeking a Product Development Technician to join their team. As a Product Development Technician, you will be part of the Research & Development team supporting Product Development Scientists, Engineers, and Technical teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a strong safety mindset, and excellent problem-solving skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Product Development Technician (1-Year Contract)
Location: Mentor, OH
Pay Range: $28.00/hr
What's the Job?
- Prepare batches of adhesive and sealant formulations using a variety of laboratory mixing equipment.
- Perform product testing using ASTM and internal methodologies while following established protocols.
- Operate laboratory equipment and power tools to prepare specimens and fabricate materials for testing and customer demonstrations.
- Record, organize, and communicate testing data and results using digital product development platforms.
- Support laboratory safety, 5S initiatives, equipment maintenance, and cross-functional training activities.
What's Needed?
- Experience in a laboratory, product development, manufacturing, or technical environment.
- Ability to follow testing procedures, ASTM methods, and safety protocols.
- Comfortable using power tools such as drills, saws, routers, and related equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately document and communicate results.
- Proficiency with computer systems and digital tools for data entry, reporting, and task management.
