Job Title: Product Development Technician
Location: Bridgewater, CT
Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of a Chemist and / or Manager, the Technician will be expected to perform the following functions with a high level of initiative and independence:
- Preparation of adhesives and adhesive additives for production
- Perform Quality Control Testing along with testing of adhesives
- Evaluate, collect and record data
- Participates in organizing and performing experiments using established procedures while summarizing and reporting results in a electronic laboratory notebook
- Data/information including charts and tables for communication of project results / details; calibration and equipment maintenance
- Tests performance characteristics of substrates using established procedures.
- Perform Lab maintenance
Key Must Have’s:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in a technical field
- 3 years (or more) of demonstrated laboratory experience
- Ability to understand and follow experimental protocols for preservation of data
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office products;
- Comfortable and able to work with hazard chemicals while following safe laboratory practices / protocols
- The ability to stand while working in the laboratory throughout most of the day.
