Product Manager - Mobile Connected (Laptops) Business DeviceAs the Product Manager - Mobile Connected (Laptops) Business Device, candidate will be responsible for new device development, certification and lifecycle management.In this role, candidate will drive device OEMs who build the Mobile Connected Devices (Laptops) for on-time, high quality device launches.This role will focus on Laptops with Client Cellular connectivity (4G/5G).Defining and executing a streamlined process for on-boarding device OEMs.Driving detailed technical requirements and test strategy for new product feature needs.Leading OEM and internal stakeholders on device features and services lockdown.Owning detailed development, certification and launch schedule with OEMs and internal stakeholders.Creating cost and time efficient certification strategy that addresses client network and business customer needs.Planning and executing software updates to address field feedback, new feature requests and return drivers.Managing device OEMs to higher device quality and performance by benchmarking device’s network performance KPIs, call in rate and return rate.Client is looking for:Candidate is passionate about product development and management.Candidate thrives in a fast-paced ever-changing work environment.Candidate is a self-motivated individual driven by candidate’s own success and equally committed to the success of the team.Candidates will need to have:Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.Six or more years of relevant work experience in product/device development, device/network technologies or a related field.Five or more years of mobile/telecom industry experience in Laptop operating systems (MSFT/Chrome).A degree, even better if it's a Master's or MBA.Knowledge of 4G/5G and compute device ecosystem.Experience launching multiple products/devices.Experience in process execution, development, and deployment of products and new technologies.Experience identifying and delivering creative opportunities to achieve business organization goals.Experience with collaboration and stakeholder management in a cross-functional environment.Strong communication and executive presentation skills.Proficiency in Google Suite, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and other standard office computer applications.Note:Candidate will be expected to report to Basking Ridge Tuesdays and Thursdays.
