Assistant Product DeveloperThe Assistant Product Developer will examine sketches and analyze design ideas to evaluate their feasibility, collaborate with designers, manufacturers, and vendors, and use your skill and expert eye to ensure that the best products are produced.AccessoriesTrack and organize all incoming samples by date, sample stage, and category including PP and TOP samplesMaintain physical and digital references for swatches, trims, and development materialsPrepare monthly presentations for new product verticals and development updatesAssist with product feature pages and product detail organizationHelp source new vendors across multiple accessory categoriesLog development updates, timelines, and sample tracking within Asana and product development Excel trackersAssist with reviewing packaging, materials, construction details, and functionality across bags and accessoriesApparelHelp forecast apparel trends and seasonal direction up to a year in advanceStay current on fashion, streetwear, and licensed product trends to support concept developmentAssist in building out new apparel verticals and sourcing reference samplesInitiate tech packs and coordinated early development conversations with overseas vendorsReview artwork placement, scale, and garment construction details during developmentSupport communication with overseas vendors regarding sampling, revisions, approvals, and timelinesAssist with fit comments, sample reviews, and development tracking across multiple apparel categoriesTrack and organize all incoming samples by date, sample stage, and category including PP and TOP samplesAdditional ResponsibilitiesCollaborate cross functionally with Design, Technical Design, Production, Marketing, and Licensing teamsAssist with costing discussions, MOQ planning, and production lead time trackingHelp organize line assortments, development calendars, and seasonal product planningAssist with mood boards when requestedKeep accurate and current records in designated systems; updates routine reports, rules, and manuals.Perform routine and non-routine administrative tasks, including document reviews.Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.Frequently use software such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Reader, Slack, Asana, Pantone, and Google DriveAll other related duties and projects as assigned by managementJob SkillsCommunication - Speaks clearly with the knowledge of the subject matter. Write in a precise way to minimize misunderstandings.
