SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 7 am - 3 pmPosition Summary:The Product Assembly Associate II will primarily assemble wooden furniture for houses of worship, higher education facilities, healthcare facilities and human service facilities.Product Assembly of complex productsFraming wood componentsFabricatingUpholsteringPrep and subassembly workBase assemblyResponsible for the quality of the end productMay be cross-trained on other general assembly jobsLocation Specific Details:Archbold:Insuring accurate counts product and assembliesAlerting co-workers of potential quality issuesPosition Requirements:Attention to fine detail/ must be detail-orientedRegular lifting and maneuvering and positioning of product up to 75 lbs.Requires full shift of standing, walking, bending and lifting.Able to read, write and follow instructions, both written and verbal.Able to use handheld power tools with accuracy and precision.Able to assist in training employees5-S audits and daily cleaningEnsures a safe working environment by conforming to all safety guidelines including, but not limited to, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)Experience and Knowledge Required:High school diploma or GED preferredPrevious Manufacturing Experience preferredProduct Assembly experience requiredKey Attributes Required:A self-starting, goal-oriented, customer-focused individual who takes personal accountability and acts in accordance with the Company's ValuesPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
