Product & Test Development Engineer – PMIC
Location: San Diego CA Duration 12 months
We are looking for a Product & Test Development Engineer – PMIC to support the development, characterization, and commercialization of advanced Power Management IC (PMIC) and Analog ASIC technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and debug test interface hardware/load boards
- Develop and debug test software/programs
- Perform hardware/software integration and first-silicon debug
- Conduct PMIC device-level characterization and module verification
- Develop characterization plans and analyze test data
- Generate test limits/guard bands
- Drive failure analysis, yield improvement, and test-time reduction
- Support product bring-up, manufacturing, reliability, and quality initiatives
- Collaborate with Design, System, Foundry, Yield, Reliability, Manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; Master's preferred
- Strong understanding of digital, analog, mixed-signal, power management, and RF circuits
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes
- Hands-on experience with PMIC measurement and characterization, including:
- Line/load regulation
- PSRR
- Transition time
- Power efficiency
- Jitter
- Phase noise
- Experience with ASIC/device-level characterization
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, source/power meters, battery emulators, and spectrum analyzers
- Strong troubleshooting and failure-analysis skills
- Programming experience with Python, VB, Perl, or similar languages
- Statistical data analysis experience
