Responsibilities

  • Procurement Governance: Authoring, updating, and publishing procurement policies, Supplier Code of Conduct, and internal procurement resources.
  • Designing and executing governance of initial due diligence and ongoing oversight of third parties.
  • Act as audit and risk requirement support; present reporting on adequacy of oversight to business senior management and risk committees.
  • Coordinate with internal subject matter experts to implement and maintain internal procedural documents and job aids.
  • Advance governance around best practices and procurement policies.

Procurement Processes

  • Consolidate Global Supply Chain and Procurement operations across Motorola Solutions and acquired businesses.
  • Drive integrated processes across Procurement, Supply Chain, Trade, Logistics, Government Affairs, Legal, Quality, and Training.
  • Demonstrate cross-functional team leadership, working with Product Management, Product Design, Technical, Finance and Business Development to achieve results.
  • Develop and implement process improvements, automation, and best practices to support growth and scale with global reach.
  • Institute procedures for collecting and reporting key metrics.

Mergers & Acquisitions

  • Act as an ambassador for Motorola Solutions during onboarding of employees from newly acquired businesses.
  • Own the integration of suppliers and procurement practices related to new M&A activities.
  • Drive standardization and improvement of the procurement scope for all mergers and acquisitions.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, supply chain, finance, technology, or related field.
  • 7+ years of supply chain experience.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely; employer sponsorship is not available for this position.
