Procurement SpecialistThe Procurement Specialist supports purchasing, supply chain, and warehousing operations at our facility. This role is responsible for coordinating orders with vendors, managing inventory, assisting with warehouse control tasks, and completing the associated recordkeeping. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proficient in administrative systems, has strong supplier and warehouse management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Essential Job and DutiesCoordinates orders and purchases of raw materials with various suppliersAssists with warehouse control and organization tasksManages periodic physical inventory of raw materials and performs reconciliation of the inventory in our databaseMonitors raw material usage and identifies needs to meet production schedulesResearches and reconciles raw material inventory variancesAssists with on-boarding new suppliers and materials, including the gathering of appropriate documentation related to food safety regulationsSupports cross-functional team members in order to meet deadlinesOther duties as assigned
