Procurement Specialist
Direct Hire
Onsite - Monday - Thursday, Friday remote

- Review and process MRP-generated requisitions, prioritizing materials based on production needs.
- Prepare and evaluate RFQs, negotiate pricing and delivery terms, and issue and track purchase orders.
- Read and interpret BOMs to ensure accurate purchasing decisions.
- Monitor supplier performance, follow up on delayed orders, and communicate potential supply issues.
- Collaborate with planners and engineering teams to support production schedules.
- Maintain purchasing records and follow company procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with BOMs and MRP/ERP systems; IFS experience is a plus.
- Strong organization, analytical skills, communication, and supplier follow-up.
- Electronics purchasing experience and familiarity with aerospace or automotive standards are preferred.
