Procurement Operations Lead

The Procurement Operations Lead will be responsible for working closely with the Products & Services leadership team to define, manage, and deliver the execution of a number of projects that will support three strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Monthly reporting – manage the production of the monthly team dashboard showing department spend, trend analysis against budget.
• Cost savings and avoidance – monthly collation and compilation of savings planned, achieved, and costs avoided by IT Procurement team staff.
• Budgetary management of IT Procurement team global budgets covering headcount, travel, training, and other associated costs.
• Vendor and Contract MI – build a robust contract management process, drive compliance against Procurement policies, and develop reporting capability.
• Vendor spend analytics – assimilate, analyze, validate, and produce reports of vendor spend using AP Data for client’s global vendor base.
• Produce executive briefing documents on key vendors and categories, collate balance of trade information.
• Develop and enhance key tools and templates to support regional teams throughout the end‑to‑end sourcing process.
• Ensure current procurement processes are operating effectively, seek ways to improve and drive efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Financial/commercial analysis background – ideally three years in a corporate finance environment.
• Excellent Excel skills – capable of manipulating and summarizing large data sets.
• Excellent PowerPoint skills – simplify complex information and present consistently to executive stakeholders.
• Working understanding of procurement and commercial management.
• Very good relationship, interpersonal skills, and cultural awareness.
• Self-starter and ability to work independently.
• Strong project management and change management skills.
• Solid analytical skills.
