This role will ensure timely, cost-effective sourcing, delivery, and inventory control of materials to support field operations, with a focus on reliability, accuracy, and vendor coordination.Key ResponsibilitiesSource, purchase, and track construction materials including concrete, rebar, conduit, cabling, structural steel, piping, and fastenersEstablish vendor relationships and negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and bulk purchasing agreementsMaintain procurement logs, material trackers, and purchase orders for ongoing projectsWork closely with site managers, engineers, and superintendents to forecast and fulfill material needsVerify material deliveries, inspect for quality, and coordinate returns or replacements as necessaryEnsure all purchases align with project budgets and schedulesManage on-site inventory and coordinate storage and staging plansMonitor market trends and lead times to optimize procurement strategiesPrepare procurement reports and participate in progress meetings as neededQualifications3+ years of experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management in construction or industrial environmentsStrong knowledge of construction materials and equipment for civil, electrical, and structural scopesProficiency with procurement software, spreadsheets, and document control (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Excel)Excellent negotiation, organization, and communication skillsAbility to prioritize, multitask, and solve problems under tight timelinesValid driver's license and ability to travel locally for vendor visits or site deliveriesPreferred ExperienceExperience in energy, utility, or infrastructure project environmentsFamiliarity with Texas-based suppliers, DOT materials, and jobsite delivery coordinationWorking knowledge of construction drawings and specificationsBackground in inventory control, ERP systems, or construction logistics planningBenefitsHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchOpportunities for advancement in a growing organization
