Procurement Manager (Senior)Location: Warren, OH areaSalary: $110k-130k + BonusesWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team. As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing and procurement activities of the organization. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and improve operational efficiencyConduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, pricing, and qualityNegotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and service agreementsManage supplier relationships, including performance evaluations and ongoing communicationCollaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide guidance on best practicesMonitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of goods and servicesImplement quality management processes to ensure compliance with specifications and standardsConduct root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement in the procurement processStay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements related to procurementSkillsStrong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and pricingMust have been responsible for at least $100M in annual purchasing spend regionally and internationallyDevelop, plan, and manage a raw material supply base which ensures the identification of items critical to the process, enhances the internal customer process, and adds value while creating competitive buying and facilitating cost/savings/reductions between internal customers/suppliers.Proficient in contract management and supplier relationship managementExperience in category management, including sourcing strategies and supplier segmentationKnowledge of quality management principles and practicesFamiliarity with procurement management systems and toolsUnderstanding of supply chain logistics and supply chain management principlesRequirementsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar roleExcellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisionsStrong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliersJoin our team as a Procurement Manager and contribute to our organization's success by ensuring efficient procurement processes that meet our business needs.
