We are seeking a highly analytical and execution-focused Procurement Manager to lead sourcing, vendor strategy, and cost control across equipment, services, and operational spend categories.The Procurement Manager is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost efficiency across all procurement activities. This role supports both Rental Services (RS) and Heavy Rents (HR) by ensuring timely, cost-effective acquisition of equipment, parts, services, and logistics support.The Procurement Manager partners closely with Fleet, Service, Central Logistics, Operations, and Finance to align procurement decisions with utilization goals, capital efficiency, and operational performance.This is a strategy and execution role, accountable for cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement discipline.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute sourcing strategies across key spend categories (equipment, parts, hauling, services, consumables)Establish and manage relationships with OEMs, dealers, and service providersNegotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to ensure competitive cost structuresEvaluate supplier performance and enforce service level expectationsDrive cost discipline across procurement categories aligned to Central Operations targetsIdentify savings opportunities and reduce cost-to-serve across operationsMonitor market pricing trends and ensure competitiveness of supplier agreementsTrack and report procurement savings and cost performancePartner with Fleet Manager on equipment sourcing, purchase timing, and vendor selectionSupport capital planning through pricing analysis and supplier negotiationsAlign procurement decisions with fleet mix strategy and utilization targetsAssist in evaluating OEM vs. secondary market purchasing strategiesEnsure timely procurement of parts, services, and operational supplies to support uptime and executionSupport Service teams with vendor sourcing for repairs, specialty work, and subcontracted servicesCoordinate with Central Logistics on hauling vendor sourcing and cost controlRemove bottlenecks in procurement that impact customer delivery or job executionEstablish procurement policies, approval thresholds, and standard vendor processesImprove purchasing visibility and control through standardized workflowsEnsure compliance with procurement procedures across branches and departmentsSupport system utilization and data accuracy for purchasing activityDevelop dashboards for tracking spend by category, supplier, and regionAnalyze procurement trends and identify areas for optimizationProvide data-driven insights to support cost, capital, and vendor decisionsSupport monthly business reviews with procurement performance updatesQualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field preferredExperience7–10 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain managementExperience in equipment rental, construction, industrial services, or asset-intensive industries strongly preferredProven experience managing vendors and negotiating contractsSkills & CompetenciesStrong negotiation and vendor management capabilityAnalytical and financial acumen (cost modeling, spend analysis)Understanding of procurement processes and supply chain dynamicsAbility to influence cross-functional stakeholdersExperience with ERP or procurement systemsAttributesCost-focused and disciplinedAnalytical and data-drivenStrong ownership and accountabilityResults-oriented with execution focusCollaborative across multiple functional teamsKey Outcomes of the RoleReduced cost-to-serve across procurement categoriesImproved supplier performance and accountabilityOptimized equipment and service sourcing aligned to business needsIncreased visibility and control over procurement spendStrong alignment between procurement, fleet, and operational execution
