The Retail Procurement Manager will work closely with suppliers, and internal stakeholders to optimize supply chain efficiency and drive profitability.Key ResponsibilitiesCost Management: Analyze pricing structures and market conditions to negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
Implement cost-saving initiatives and monitor procurement budgets.Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to establish and maintain partnerships. Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contracts and service level.Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute sourcing strategies to meet the organization's procurement objectives. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and industry trends.Inventory Coordination: Collaborate with distribution management and suppliers to forecast demand.
Ensure optimal stock levels are maintained to meet brand demands without excessive overstock.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with distribution management, manufacturers, store design, and store operations teams to align procurement efforts with business strategy. Communicate procurement updates.Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that procurement activities comply with company policies, and legal requirements.
