We lead the way in closed die forging innovation for the aerospace, oilfield, power generation, mechanical power transmission, off-highway and railway industries.Position Summary:The Procurement oversees the sourcing and supplier management of external services that support production operations. This role is responsible for building and maintaining strong, results-driven supplier relationships, ensuring service quality, cost efficiency, and operational continuity. The ideal candidate is highly organized, capable of handling high transaction volumes, and excels at cross-functional coordination.Key Responsibilities:Manage end-to-end procurement activities for external services supporting production, including sourcing, contracting, and supplier performance managementDevelop request for proposal to support the Procurement strategic direction of the team and companyDevelop and maintain strategic relationships with key service providers to ensure reliable and cost-effective service deliveryHandle high volumes of purchase orders, service requests, and supplier interactions with accuracy and efficiencyCollaborate closely with operations, engineering, finance, and other internal departments to align procurement activities with business needsMonitor supplier performance, track KPIs, and drive continuous improvement initiativesEnsure compliance with company policies, contractual agreements, and regulatory requirementsIdentify cost-saving opportunities and support budgeting and forecasting activitiesProactively resolve supplier or service-related issues to minimize impact on productionLead or support negotiations with suppliers for pricing, service levels, and contract termsOther duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)Minimum of four years managing procurement or supply chain processes and team, preferably in services procurement or production environment.Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume workload with strong attention to detailExperience overseeing supplier relationships and performance managementKey Competencies:Relationship Management: Strong ability to build trust and maintain effective partnerships with external service providersCross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to coordinate across multiple departments and align prioritiesExecution & Follow-Through: Highly organized with a strong sense of ownership and accountabilityLeadership: Self-motivated with the capability to influence and lead initiatives, even without direct authorityProblem Solving: Ability to identify issues quickly and implement practical solutionsCommunication: Clear and effective written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in manufacturing or production environmentsFamiliarity with ERP or procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa)Experience managing service-based contracts and SLAsEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
