Bionique aims to offer unsurpassed quality mycoplasma testing services to meet the specific scientific and regulatory needs of each client and partner.We are seeking a Procurement Associate to maintain positive vendor relations and administrative support.

You will be ensuring vendor supplier qualifications are met per our Quality Department, work across departments to be able to order and anticipate orders and lead inventory management.Onsite in Saranac Lake, NY, M-F 8am to 4pmPlease note, we will not be providing immigration-related sponsorship now or in the future for this role.Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities :Order office and laboratory supplies/process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and proceduresManage office supplies inventoryVendor communication including clarifying details, negotiating terms and price, identifying quality of goods, establishing deadlines and expectationsTrack orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and servicesPrepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses, and update internal databases with order detailsMaintain positive vendor relations and communicate with suppliersIdentify pricing trends and evaluate offers from vendors for better pricingAssist the Laboratory Logistics Analyst with monitoring stock levels and identifying purchasing needsOversee inventory controlAssist with other areas of the Front Office as neededProvide input for organization-wide and department policies and procedures in a variety of areas such as purchasing, procurement, etc.Greet visitors and provide general support to visitors upon arrival in accordance with company policiesOrganize and schedule appointments and meetingsMaintain contact listsEnsure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirementsAssist and/or generate reportsManage sensitive information in a confidential mannerCorrespond with clients through phone, fax, mail, e-mail in a polite and professional mannerMaintain electronic and paper filing systemsConduct data entryPerform additional duties as assignedRequirements :HS diploma or equivalentAbility to handle multiple tasks and projects under deadline pressure and independentlyAble to adapt quickly to changeStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsHigh attention to detail and data entry accuracy is requiredProficient with Microsoft Office SuitePhysical Requirements :Prolonged periods of sitting on a chair, working at a desk, and working on a computer and/or telephoneMust be able to lift up to 25 poundsPay Rate and Shift :The base compensation range for this role is between $23.00/hr - $26.00/hr. The actual compensation is commensurate with experience.This position is a fully onsite role and is scheduled for a 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM shift.
