Purchasing & Sourcing Specialist$50,000/year | Full-Time | 100% On-Site - West Palm Beach, FLGreenChem Industries is seeking a resourceful and analytical Purchasing & Sourcing Specialist to support our growing global chemical distribution business. This is more than a traditional purchasing role. We are looking for someone who enjoys finding solutions —sourcing difficult-to-find products, developing new suppliers, negotiating better terms, analyzing costs, and using AI and modern technology to make sourcing and procurement faster and smarter.What You'll DoSource chemicals and identify new domestic and international manufacturers and suppliersPartner with Sales to find solutions for new, difficult-to-source, and time-sensitive customer opportunitiesUse AI tools, digital research, industry resources, and supplier networks to identify new sourcing opportunitiesPrepare RFQs and compare suppliers based on price, quality, lead time, freight, duties, terms, reliability, and total landed costNegotiate pricing, payment terms, MOQs, freight terms, lead times, and stocking programsDevelop backup suppliers to reduce supply-chain riskCreate and manage purchase orders through deliveryMonitor shortages, backorders, supplier delays, and changing market conditionsMaintain accurate supplier pricing, lead times, and purchasing information in our ERPAnalyze purchasing data and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvementBuild strong relationships with domestic and international suppliersUse AI, automation, Excel, and other technology to improve sourcing, research, reporting, and repetitive purchasing processesWhat We're Looking For1-2+ years of purchasing, procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or related experience preferredAssociate degree required; bachelor's degree preferredStrong research, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skillsStrong Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems; NetSuite is a plusExperience using AI sourcing tools, automation, or similar technology is highly preferredPersistent, curious, organized, and comfortable managing multiple prioritiesSomeone who looks for another solution when the first answer is "no"You do not need to be a programmer.
